                                         Salt & Water Experiment

What do we need to find out?

The amount of salt that must be in water before it will not freeze when left overnight in the freezer.

How will we find it out?

Put different amount of salt in each cups.

Write it on a piece of paper/ Docs - Chromebook

What equipment do we need for the experiment?

- 3 cups, salt & water

How long will it take?

10 Minutes

                                                              The Procedure

What are the steps that you will take to make the experiment? List them in 6 steps.

1 : Get your ingredients 

2: Pour different amount of salt in each cup

3: Then pour the water in the cups

4: Put in the freezer overnight

5: Then take out of the freezer

6: Finally you have your results of what you made.


Task 3: Draw on a piece of A4 paper the 6 steps that you will use to test the amount of salt in water before freezing. When we are making drawings in science  it needs to be labelled clearly, kept tidy and named. Once you have completed the drawing it must be photographed and uploaded to your blog.
In your drawing you will use:
  1. Beakers
  1. Water
  1. Measuring spoons or cups
